You may have noticed some exciting changes to Your Money website in the past few weeks - and these are just a taster of what is to come in 2007.

As well as being able to compare credit cards, compare loans, compare savings accounts and use our loan calculator to get yourself a great-value personal loan, for example, we will have daily news updates, features on the hot financial topics of the day and guest writers who are experts in their field to give you the lowdown on the things that matter.

Finance does not have to be a big mystery and the Your Money website will complement the respected Your Money magazine to bring you down-to-earth reporting and comment on the areas of personal finance, like saving and investment, that matter to us all.

Many people, for example, are financially underprepared for retirement and Your Money will observe the pension arena with its customary sharply focused eye. Retirement income is too important to be left to chance, and with many people resorting to equity release in their properties, the debate is a heated one that deserves attention. And don’t forget that YOUR retirement is at stake too.
