Friends Life has created the UK Retirement Savings Map below, based on the savings behaviour of over 18,000 people.

The map benchmarks how active consumers are in saving into a pension for the future, finding the North East, Scotland and the North West are the most financially prepared, whilst the East Midlands, East of England and South West are falling behind.
