Yorkshire Building Society has today launched the Triple Access Saver ISA, an easy-access account that pays an annual rate of 1.35 per cent on balances of over £100.

The rate positions the Triple Access Saver as one of the leading easy-access cash ISAs available to consumers. National Savings & Investments Direct offer an ISA that pays 1.5 per cent, but this account does not accept transfers from other ISA providers. Barclays’ Instant ISA allows for transfers and pays 1.49 per cent – however, only balances of over £30,000 qualify for this rate. Balances of over £15,000 attract rates of 1.39 per cent.

However, those wishing to extract funds have a short window of opportunity to do so; withdrawals can only be made on three days of the year (although the saver can choose which days they are).
