Ryan Griffin is responsible for One Family’s protection business. His 25 years’ experience in the life insurance market includes senior commercial roles within reinsurance, insurance, and distribution, encompassing product and proposition development; corporate partnerships; marketing; business development; underwriting; pricing; and data science. Much of his career has been focused on start-ups, turn-arounds and scale business transformations.



Before joining One Family, he was Product Director at Beagle Street, and before that he was responsible for delivering the P&L and driving business transformation across all product categories at Post Office Insurance. He helped set up iptiQ (Swiss Re’s in-house insurer) and was part of the founding team at Fortis Life (later known as Ageas Protect and AIG Life) where he led marketing before setting up the partnerships function.
