The judges evaluated Tesco Bank’s wide range of products – loans, credit cards, savings, car insurance, travel money, home insurance, pet insurance and international money transfer – comparing the pricing of the products and their value to the consumer against the bank’s competitors in the market, as well as the product structures and propositions.

Tesco Bank made it through to a shortlist of contenders for the top award. A carefully selected panel of 2,000 consumers then road tested the bank, assessing a number of metrics including the user-friendliness of its website, ease of application and support service offered.

Tesco Bank’s combined score took it to the top of the list.
