Prices start from £13 for a £5 brilliant uncirculated coin.

But the collection also includes a seven-kilo gold coin, with a face value of £7,000 – the largest coin with the highest face value to ever be produced by the Mint in its 1,100-year history.

It features an engraving of the Aston Martin DB5, with its famous BMT 216A number plate, surrounded by a gun barrel.

Just one seven-kilo gold coin will be created as part of the James Bond Special Issue range.

The collection also features a two-kilo gold coin, which has a recommended retail price of £129,990.

The Royal Mint is also launching the world’s first James Bond precious metal bar available in gold and silver. The bar will contain every official James Bond film title on the background and will be available to purchase from mid-March.

Designers Christian Davies and Matt Dent said: “As Bond fans ourselves, we’ve enjoyed re-watching some of our favourite films. The design series focuses on iconic imagery from the Bond films. Finding the balance between design detail and what can be accomplished in production was a challenge, nowhere more so than the intricate spokes of the DB5’s wheel.”
