Marston’s – pre-close trading update

Fourth quarter sales performance will be of interest to Marston investors, especially with some analysts predicting a slowdown thanks to adverse weather in August and September. Any guidance on profit margins, news of the company’s F plan strategy and how many new build pubs have been completed will also be of interest.”

Friday 10 October

Vedanta Resources – second quarter production results

Production is expected to remain near record levels for Vedanta in both the oil and gas arms of the business. Investors will welcome any exploration updates from the Cairn India energy business and will also be on the lookout for commentary on the resumption of production in iron ore in various states following the lifting of mining bands. Commentary on the company’s high levels of debt should also be noted.
