Are you saving for a house and ever wondered how far your budget would stretch in other parts of the country?

Well, a new online tool reveals just what you could afford in locations across the UK.

The tool, developed by home interiors firm, Hillarys, lets users enter their budget and then shows them the biggest and smallest property they could afford.

For example, a budget of £200,000 could get you a huge 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom property in Bradford, or a much more modest one bedroom flat in St Albans.

For £500,000, you could get a 14 bedroom property in Doncaster, or a 2 bedroom flat in Hove.

And with a £1m budget, you could buy a 14 bed terraced house in Peterborough, or a 2 bed flat in Vauxhall, London.
