HSBC has relaunched its current account switching offers, which include up to £175 cashback and stay in a luxury hotel.

Customers switching to the free HSBC Advance Bank Account will get £175 in cash within 30 days if they pay in at least £1,750 a month or £10,500 over six months. The account offers access to preferential rates and offers.

People who switch to the basic HSBC Bank Account will receive £75 within 30 days of switching. To qualify for the perk, they must pay in at least £500 a month or £3,000 over six months.

Switchers to the HSBC Premier Bank Account will receive a one-night stay for two at a choice of 50 luxury hotels, worth up to £330. Or they can opt for a family getaway at a Merlin hotel, including Alton Towers and Legoland.

Premier customers receive free worldwide travel insurance for themselves, their partner, their children and their grandchildren, as well as preferential terms, for no monthly fee.

All accounts give customers access to the HSBC Regular Saver, which offers interest of 5% AER for Premier and Advance customers, and 3% AER for Bank Account customers.

New and existing customers are also eligible to a free 12 month membership to British Cycling, worth £24.

To be eligible for a switching offer, applicants must not have held an HSBC current account since 1 January 2016 and must apply through the current account switching service.

They must set up a minimum of two direct debits and/or standing orders within 30 days of opening the account.

HSBC’s previous current account switching offers, which included cashback and a luxury overnight stay, ended on 1 April.
