This year’s event, which once again confirmed Asia’s position as a leading destination for private equity capital, was attended by 1,000 private equity professionals from 30 countries, including 250 limited partners representing around $500 billion in capital.

Besides the flagship AVCJ Investment Summit, the week was filled with other thought provoking and knowledge sharing events including the Private Equity Leaders’ Summit, the Third Annual LP  Summit, the Annual Institutional Investors’ Luncheon and the AVCJ Asian Private Equity Awards. In addition, numerous networking events, social gatherings and board meetings were arranged by GPs and LPs around the AVCJ Forum.

Highlights included insightful keynote speeches from Jim Coulter of TPG Capital, David Rubenstein of The Carlyle Group, Henry Kravis of KKR, Howard Marks of Oaktree Capital, Jonathon Nelson of Providence Equity Partners, Chris Flowers of JC Flowers & Co and John Connaughton of Bain Capital.

Also participating were senior representatives from such powerhouses as CALPERS, HarbourVest Partners, AlpInvest, Capital Dynamics, Affinity Equity Partners, Bain Capital, Baring Private Equity Asia, Pacific Equity Partners, KPMG, Actis, Navis, Coller, IL&FS Private Equity, IDFC, Unitas Capital, Morgan Stanley, Greenpark Capital, Apollo Global Management, CVC Asia Pacific, Clearwater Capital Partners, AIF, Apollo, PAG, Headland Capital Partners, Hony Capital, CITIC Private Equity, and many more.
