BT TV adds Eurosport to flexible packages

BT customers with Big Sport and VIP packages will receive Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 for free.

The move means Big Sport and VIP customers will be able to watch snooker, cycling, tennis, athletics, winter sports and motor racing, as well as the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The launch of Eurosport adds to the sports content already available across BT TV from BT Sport and Sky Sports from NOW TV. To enhance the sports-watching experience, you can bet on sites like

The Eurosport channels have been added to Big Sport and VIP packages, with on-demand content also available from BT Player and access on the go available through the BT TV app.

The monthly price for both packages will stay the same.

Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 will be available on channel 412 and 413, while customers on the VIP package will also be able to watch both channels in HD at 435 and 436.

Big Sport customers can access HD channels through the BT HD/Combi HD Add On.

Siena Pakington, content director at BT said, “The addition of Eurosport to our flexible TV packages makes BT TV the destination for sports fans. With an exciting spring and summer of sport coming up, our customers will be ready to enjoy all the action from the comfort of their own home.”

BT TV customers can choose a TV package and ‘add-ons’ every 30 days.

The VIP package costs £65 a month. It offers Sky Originals from channels including Sky Atlantic and Sky One, all Sky Cinema channels with more than 1,000 movies on demand, 11 Sky Sports channels, all in full HD, BT Sport Ultimate in up to 4K HDR and, from today, HD content from Eurosport.

Big Sport is currently half price at £20 per month, with the normal price £40. It offers the best of BT Sport including UEFA Champions League and Premier League matches, and the best of Sky Sports from NOW TV – with dedicated channels covering Premier League, Formula One, golf, cricket and rugby.

From today, Eurosport adds snooker, cycling, tennis, athletics, winter sports and motor racing sports.
