Morrisons is offering shoppers 10p off a litre of fuel when they spend £60 or more on groceries.

Customers spending £60 or more in-store at Morrisons from today until Sunday 15 December will receive a fuel discount voucher. Online shops are excluded from the deal.

The voucher is valid until Sunday 22 December and can be used at any one of Morrisons’ 335 forecourts.

For shoppers with a typical 50-litre car, Morrisons said they will save £5 when filling up the tank.

Ashley Myers, Morrisons head of fuel, said: “With Christmas round the corner, we hope this offer will help customers with all their busy travels during the festive season.”

Just this week, motoring group the AA criticised money-off fuel vouchers, saying that while they are good for some shoppers, they discriminate against lower-spending and less well-off consumers.
