ASOS investors shaken by profit warnings will be eager for this week’s results.

Monday 15 September

Monitise – full year results

New technology partnerships will be of interest to investors, as will revenue figures given the lower guidance announced in July. A recent tie-up with IBM will require some discussion, as will the performance of newly acquired Markco Media.

H&M – third quarter sales

Tuesday 16 September

ASOS – fourth quarter trading statement

This online retailer has been hit with profit warnings recently, so the market will be looking for reassurance and some explanation as to why earnings missed the mark so widely. The strong pound’s impact on trading will also be if interest, as will revenue growth. The performance of the Russian website and the soon-to-be-launched Chinese site will also of interest.

Galliford Try – full year results

Wednesday 17 September

Imagination Technologies – interim management statement

Investors have lost confidence somewhat in this firm, which has faced tough headwinds over the last couple of years, but management remains upbeat. Further licensing awards are expected to lead to improved future royalty earnings, and the launch of the iPhone 6 could be excellent news for this friend of Apple.

Inditex – first half sales

Richemont – first quarter results

Modern Water – second quarter results

Smiths Group – fourth quarter results

This group is exposed to many different markets, including oil and gas, healthcare and security. Performance has been good in recent years, but investors should note that certain areas like defence could suffer from government budget cuts. Investors will be looking for a progress report on the medical device division and the status of the group’s pension fund.

Thursday 18 September

Investec – pre-closing trading update

This South Africa-based investment house has been hit by currency volatility. The markets will be looking for an update on the Australian side of the business and overall activity levels, which may have suffered during a quiet period for the global financial markets.

Kier Group – full year results
