From United Utilities to Blackberry, this week will see a variety of companies updating their investors.

Tuesday 23 September

Close Brothers – preliminary results

Carnival – third quarter sales

Wednesday 24 September

Clinigen Group – final results

United Utilities – trading update

Utilities companies tend to report trading results in line with expectations, so that’s what investors will be expecting here. There may be some commentary around recent draft price proposals from regulator Ofwat, which would be welcome as the group announced in August that it would respond by 3 October.

Thursday 25 September

H&M – second quarter trading update

Friday 26 September

Blackberry – second quarter results
