Inflation has overshot the Bank of England's 2% target for the fourth month in a row. The impact on savings and borrowers is apparent, but how does rising inflation impact investment portfolios?

UK inflation jumped to a four-year high of 2.9% in May, the fourth consecutive month the rate has exceeded the Bank of England’s 2% target.

It’s bad news for savers and borrowers, but it may also be equally bad for investors.
