Life after lockdown: savings tips for women

During lockdown, most parents have had to juggle work, homeschooling and childcare. Will families re-think household responsibilities when life returns to normal and how will this effect their finances?

With parents across the country now working from home and schooling children, any existing childcare arrangements prior to the Covid 19 lockdown have been put on hold.

But when the lockdown ends, will things immediately jump back to ‘normal’, or will parents review how they share duties between them?

Maike Currie of Fidelity International discusses the latest research on attitudes to childcare, how this may change in the future, and the financial implications of that – specifically, for women who still are most likely to take time off work to raise a family.
