How would your child fancy testing their skills as a ball boy, fashion writer or sweet tester?

A pocket-money website has released a list of ‘vacancies’ on offer for children aged 6-14.

Roosterbank’s Dream Jobs 2013 is aimed at showcasing the variety of jobs children can get involved in to notch up work experience and inspire them to think about their future.

The directory has launched with 25 jobs available across the UK with additional jobs being added throughout the summer.

Included in the list are Fishkeeper at Blue Reef Aquarium, Junior Survival Trainer at Bear Grylls Academy, Junior Model Maker at Legoland Windsor Resort and Trainee Witch at Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset.

Portsmouth’s Blue Reef Aquarium is offering one child the opportunity to be a ‘Fishkeeper for the Day’, where the candidate will spend a few hours with one of the aquarists helping to prepare and feed the animals, while the candidate who gains the title of Junior Reporter at MATCH will get to interview Premier League players and test the latest footy boots and gear for reviews.

Ben Edwards, chief executive of Roosterbank.com, said: “We are always on the look-out for new ways to help our young users understand the value of earning and saving. Whilst the vacancies on the Dream Jobs aren’t paid work in the traditional sense, they are an exciting, fun way for children to engage in the world of work and be a part of an experience that will inspire them for many years to come.”

Application details for each vacancy on the list of Dream Jobs 2013 can be found at www.roosterbank.com/dream-jobs
