Which? has declared Aldi Almat Bio Washing Powder its number one product of 2023, beating MacBooks, LG OLED TVs, and Miele appliances to the top spot.
When determining the consumer champion’s 50 best products of the year, Which? researchers assessed price, quality and environmental credentials.
Which? said Almat Bio washing powder was “a perfect example of Aldi’s commitment to quality while keeping prices low”. It specifically praised the washing powder’s “superb stain removal, colour protection that keeps whites white, fully recyclable packaging” and the fact the power doesn’t contain ingredients known to be harmful to aquatic life.
The same product came second in Which?’s best products of 2022.
