April Premium Bonds: have you scooped the £1m jackpot?
A man from Hertfordshire and a woman from Essex have become the latest winners of the life-changing £1m Premium Bonds prize.
The lucky man from Hertfordshire invested £40,000 and bought the winning NS&I Premium Bond in January 2015. The winning bond number is 239CV516628.
He becomes the 13th Premium Bonds millionaire from Hertfordshire.
The second big winner is a woman from Essex who scooped the life-changing £1m prize after investing the maximum £50,000. The winning bond number is 293GZ540034 and was bought in January 2017.
She becomes the 17th £1m winner from Essex.
There were 3.52 million prizes up for grabs in the April draw, worth £100.8m.
There were 86.4 billion eligible bonds for the draw. Since the first draw in June 1957, 476.5 million prizes have been drawn with a total value of £20.5bn.

Premium Bonds holders will be able to check if they’ve won an amount between £25 and £100,000 via the nsandi.com prize checker and prize checker app from Thursday 2 April.
During the coronavirus situation, NS&I is urging customers not to call to check if they have won as it’s dealing with customers who don’t have online access or have an urgent matter to discuss.
