The deal’s available until Sunday 17 November at over 25 UK attractions, including Alton Towers, The Dungeons, Eden Project and the London Eye.
You can book online or in person and your visit can be after 17 November – just make sure you check the individual attraction dates as some close over the winter months.
Amex confirmed there’s no minimum spend to get the 10% back or a limit on the number of times it can be used.
All cardmembers (excluding corporate accounts) can get the deal by saving it on to your card via the Amex App or online at americanexpress.com and then going on to book with the merchants.
You can view the full list of attractions taking part, and how they accept bookings to get your 10% back. See the Amex Days Out details here.
It will then show up as a statement credit on your card account statement within 30 days from the date when the eligible transaction was made.
As you’d expect, there are some exclusions, such as café and gift store purchases, while short breaks, annual passes and events at Merlin Entertainments attractions aren’t included.
And, if you’re not an Amex cardholder already, the provider confirms you can get its usual sign-up bonus and opt in to get the 10% back on eligible days out spends.
Amex also confirmed to YourMoney.com that any discount offers at each of the vendors won’t affect the Amex offer so cardmembers will still be able to receive it.
Dave Edwards, vice president, American Express, said: “We know our cardmembers really enjoy a day out, and our latest Amex Offer helps them to make savings as they do just that.
“With a wide variety of some of the nation’s top attractions included, and the ability to book ahead – whether that’s for half term, the festive break or beyond – we think this offer will be really appealing to families and friends across the UK who value being rewarded on their spending.”
