Live Yoga Teachers – free recovery yoga classes
Yoga Teacher Yanar Alkayat, who has run six marathons herself, will take participants through three live-streamed recovery yoga sessions starting the day after the London Marathon (Monday).
Here’s what the sessions will cover
- Monday 28th: Gentle floor-based postures to ease stiffness in the legs, hips and lower back
- Tuesday 29th: Introducing more flowing, full-body movements to boost circulation and support overall physical ease
- Wednesday 30th: Deeper stretches to release tightness and improve recovery, mobility and range of motion
To join the classes for free, just fill in the form on the website and provide a picture on the finish line or your jersey number.

Fresh handmade cosmetics company Lush is giving away products from its new magnesium range to help London Marathon runners recover.
Lush stores taking part include Oxford Street, Paddington Station, Covent Garden Waterloo Station and Victoria Station. Runners can get a free Cold Water Soother Epsom salt cube (worth £6.50) and After magnesium solid massage oil bar (worth £10).
Lush will also be including a 10% discount voucher for its Lush Spas in the goody bag – with London locations including Covent Garden and Oxford Street.
To get the freebies, head to a participating Lush shop during opening hours between Sunday 27 April and Wednesday 30 April and show your London Marathon 2025 medal to a member of staff.
Gymshark
Exhausted runners can relax at Gymshark Regent Street with a free marathon recovery day.
Guests can sign up on Eventbrite for rejuvenating activities such as Lumi ice baths and Hyperice massage guns. There will also be Joe & the Juice refreshments available.
Travel
Transport for London
If you’re too tired to walk home after the race, Transport for London is offering free travel across the London Underground, Overground, DLR and London bus services.
As is tradition, runners need to show their medal, and if you have children, they go for free too. The free service will run until 6.30pm on Sunday.
