Vanguard said the mobile app launch follows a “successful client panel and subscription phase”, and it can be downloaded for free via the App Store or Google Play (iOS 16 and 17, Android from 9 and above).
It comes after YourMoney.com reported earlier in the year that existing Vanguard UK Personal Investor platform customers were being invited to register their interest in testing its new app.
As such, Vanguard said the app was “created in partnership with more than 7,000 clients” to provide access to low-cost investing.
It allows customers to track and manage their Vanguard investments, with additional features set to be added over time, based on client demand.
Vanguard set out the following key features of the app:

Liz Waldron, head of client experience at Vanguard UK Personal Investor, said: “At Vanguard, we believe investing doesn’t have to be complicated. The app has been designed for our clients, in partnership with clients, with the goal of making high-quality, long-term, low-cost investing even easier to access.
“We’ve launched with the features our clients use most often: checking balances, performance, topping up accounts, etc., and will continue to build out additional features for the app, depending on what our clients tell us they need. We’d like to thank our client community for their help developing the app.”
